By car
Mercer is just off State Highway 1, around 45 minutes south of central Auckland and approximately 50 minutes north of Hamilton, depending on traffic.
Take the Mercer exit from State Highway 1 and follow the signs into Mercer. The museum is on Roose Road, near the centre of the village.
Look for the historic white museum building and the Mercer Museum sign.

Parking is available nearby. Please take care when entering and leaving the museum grounds.
